Job summary

Encore Global in West Palm Beach is seeking a seasonal Audio-Visual Technician to set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV equipment for events in a hospitality setting. You will deliver customer service, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with guests and staff to ensure flawless events.

The role includes full-time benefits, overtime, and hands-on training to support career growth and advancement, with potential to reapply for future opportunities after May 2027.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements per Encore’s program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately; interact with staff and vendors.
