Job summary

Encore is seeking a seasonal full-time Audio-Visual Technician for a hotel/convention center environment in Miami Beach. The role includes on-site event support, client interaction, and adherence to company procedures.

The position offers full-time benefits, overtime, and hands-on training, with a May 2027 anticipated end date. Requirements include a high school diploma (associates preferred), 1 year of customer service/hospitality and 1 year AV experience, a valid driver’s license, and lifting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must complete all training/certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet Encore’s training/certification requirements.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
• Exceed guest expectations and maintain positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues.
• Complete order entries and interact with vendors and clients as needed.
