Job summary

The Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking dedicated, faith-filled coaches to cultivate a love of athletics and the Lord in students through excellence in sport. Yearly expansion includes cross country, volleyball, basketball, and track for PK3-7th grade with plans for middle school athletics.

The Coach develops and administers the program, being recommended to the principal by the athletic coordinator and evaluated with the Athletic Coordinator.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in coaching and/or playing.

Responsibilities

• Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.
• Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters.
• Use a variety of instructional techniques to meet the needs of student athletes.
• Manage and supervise athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions.
• Schedule competitions and coordinate arrangements with the athletic coordinator.
