Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience in lacrosse or a strong background as a player.
• Knowledge of the rules and strategies of girls lacrosse.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to the season).
• Availability for the entire duration of the lacrosse season, including evenings and weekends.
• A background check may be required prior to hiring.
• A passion for youth sports and player development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting daily practices and training sessions.
• Help develop game strategies and prepare the team for competition.
• Provide instruction on fundamental skills, techniques, and rules of lacrosse.
• Monitor and evaluate players' performance, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
• Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Assist in organizing and managing team events, including games, tournaments, and fundraisers.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding team matters.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes during practices and competitions.
• Attend all scheduled team meetings, practices, and games.
• Uphold and enforce school and athletic department policies and procedures.
