Job summary

NW Service Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to work on-site at local Retail Stores such as Home Depot or Lowe's, assembling merchandise and displays.

Seasonal, with flexible scheduling including part-time as well as full availability; pay moves to per-piece after training, typically $15–$25/hr, with experienced techs earning upwards of $30/hr. You’ll build barbecues, wheelbarrows, lawn tractors, work benches, and furniture.

Qualifications

• Day-shift/early morning availability
• Self-motivated: able to work hard with minimal supervision
• A mechanical aptitude: you are handy
• Has Basic hand tools, cordless screw gun, or impact driver
• A smartphone and e-mail address
• Internet access via a smartphone or mobile device
• Ability to pass a background test
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply
• Reliable transportation
• Capable of working on your feet for extended periods
• Kneel, bend, twist, and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
• Experience is a plus, but we will train

Responsibilities

• Assembly and repair products using manufacturer instructions while adhering to retailer rules and guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining positive relationships with clients
• Check in with Retailer management to confirm the build list and inventory
• Generate and complete invoices daily
• Report and communicate effectively with your Area Manager
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and leave clients with a clean build area
