Job summary

NW Service Enterprises, Inc. seeks an Assembly Technician to work on-site at local retailers such as Home Depot or Lowe's, assembling barbecues, wheelbarrows, lawn tractors, work benches and furniture.

This is seasonal and offers flexible scheduling with part-time options; pay transitions to a piece-rate after training. New technicians typically earn $15–$25 per hour; experienced workers can average $30+ per hour depending on productivity, and you will never earn less than the local minimum

Qualifications

• Day-shift/early morning availability.
• Self-motivated: able to work with minimal supervision.
• A mechanical aptitude: you are handy.
• Has Basic hand tools, cordless screw gun, or impact driver.
• A smartphone and e-mail address.
• Internet access via a smartphone or mobile device.
• Ability to pass a background test.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Reliable transportation.
• Capable of standing on your feet for extended periods.
• Kneel, bend, twist, and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Experience is a plus, but we will train.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and repair products and merchandise using manufacturer instructions.
• Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
• Check in with Retailer management to confirm the build list and inventory.
• Generate and complete invoices daily.
• Report and communicate effectively with your Area Manager.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and leave clients with a clean build area.
