Job summary

NW Service Enterprises, Inc. (NWS) Professional Assembly is seeking an Assembly Technician to work on-site at local retail stores such as Home Depot or Lowe's.

You will assemble merchandise and displays, including barbecues, wheelbarrows, lawn tractors, work benches and furniture, with seasonal peaks and flexible scheduling. Pay transitions to piece rate after training, with typical earnings $15–$25 per hour and potential for higher rates up to $30/hour based on productivity.

Qualifications

• Day-shift/early morning availability.
• Self-motivated: able to work hard with minimal supervision.
• A mechanical aptitude: you are handy.
• Has Basic hand tools, cordless screw gun, or impact driver.
• A smartphone and e-mail address Internet access via a smartphone or mobile device.
• Ability to pass a background test.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Reliable transportation.
• Capable of working on your feet for extended periods.
• Kneel, bend, twist, and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Experience is a plus, but we will train.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and repair products and merchandise, using manufacturer instructions while adhering to retailer rules and guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
• Check in with Retailer management to confirm the build list and inventory.
• Generate and complete invoices daily.
• Report and communicate effectively with your Area Manager.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and leave clients with a clean build area.
