Manatt’s in Newton, IA is seeking an Asphalt Roller Operator for a seasonal statewide travel position. The role supports the paving crew by operating roller equipment, maintaining production, and performing ground tasks such as luting and shoveling asphalt.

Qualifications

• 5 years of asphalt construction equipment experience preferred.
• CDL Class A - medical card with air brake and tanker endorsement preferred.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Mathematical Skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Reasoning Ability: apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate between field foreman and paving team.
• Maintain production and perform ground tasks related to asphalt work.
• Support daily operations and assist with manual duties as needed.
