Heartland Paving Partners in Tinton Falls, NJ, is seeking a Seasonal Field Laborer - Asphalt Paving to support paving crews. The role involves surface prep, material handling, and assisting with paving operations to ensure quality and safety on every project.

Ideal candidates are able to perform physical work outdoors, follow directions, and communicate well with the team. Training is provided for asphalt processes; valid driver's license preferred and overtime may occur.

Formación

• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of asphalt construction is a plus but training provided.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and understanding supervisor instructions.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with surface preparation and debris removal.
• Handle materials and transport as needed.
• Operate basic hand tools and assist paving operations.
• Assist in asphalt paving operations to spread and level material.
• Monitor asphalt quality and thickness for proper finish.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance on site.
• Keep tools and equipment clean and in good condition.
• Assist in compaction and sealcoat processes as needed.
• Set up and move traffic control devices for safety.
• Support crew members to ensure timely project completion.
• Report progress and issues to the supervisor.
