Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Cook at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. You’ll follow recipes, operate kitchen equipment, and work with a team to deliver great dining experiences for guests.

No experience or diploma is required. The role offers weekly pay, training and development, employee discounts, flexible schedules, health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions.
• Basic math skills for recipe measurements.

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor's assignments for food production and prepare food and beverage products for guests by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines
• Set up, operate and clean kitchen equipment, according to correct procedures as well as keeping workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
• Work cooperatively with team members and management
• Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures
