Job summary

The Salvation Army in Birmingham, AL is seeking a seasonal team member to support the Angel Tree program from November to December. The role involves receiving, sorting, and distributing Christmas gifts and assisting donors at Angel Tree sites.

You will help with warehouse setup, provide friendly customer service, and perform light data entry of recipient information. This is a temporary, part-time position with weekday hours, Monday–Friday 11AM to 7PM.

Qualifications

• Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers.
• Familiarity with The Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree Program.
• Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision.
• Ability to interact politely with the public.
• Must adhere to the stated dress code.

Responsibilities

• Support the Angel Tree program; lifts, carries, loads and unloads Christmas gift donations.
• Attend Angel Tree sites as an attendant and interact with donors.
• Assist with warehouse setup, cleanup, and loading/unloading; manage light duties.
• Perform data entry of recipient information.
• Seasonal position for Nov–Dec.
