Job summary

Branch is opening its first retail store in the Jackson Square area of San Francisco. We’re hiring a seasonal part-time Retail Brand Ambassador to represent Branch, engage customers, and help deliver a standout shopping experience.

You will support daily store operations, align with management on Branch vision, and assist in meeting store goals. This role emphasizes service, product knowledge, and brand representation during shifts. Start: Sep 2026; End: Jan 2027.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in customer-facing roles and brand representation.
• High standards for premium customer service and relationship-building.
• Strong product knowledge and ability to learn processes and tools.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays, 10–15 hours per week.

About the Role

As a seasonal part-time Retail Brand Ambassador at Branch, you'll play a key role in supporting our very first retail store in the Jackson Square neighborhood of San Francisco. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys customer interaction and wants to represent one of the fastest growing furniture brands in the country.

In this role, you'll help create positive customer experiences and contribute to the store's daily operations. You'll work alongside the management team to understand and promote Branch's vision while assisting in meeting store goals. As a Retail Brand Ambassador, you'll represent Branch during your shifts, embodying our brand values and helping customers find solutions that meet their needs. You'll work collaboratively with other team members in a supportive environment, focusing on providing excellent service and supporting sales efforts while developing your retail skills.

The projected start date is September 2026 and the projected end date for this seasonal role is January 2027.

Position Qualifications (You Have):

• Minimum Age: Must be at least 18 years old to align with company standards.
• Experience: A background in retail, hospitality or high-touch client-facing roles, demonstrating expertise in premium customer service, brand representation, and building relationships with discerning clients.
• Product Expertise: Develop and maintain expert-level understanding of our products and processes including our tools and systems.
• Availability: Flexible and adaptable to meet business needs, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, showcasing a commitment to operational excellence. Minimum 10 to 15 hours per week required.
• Physical Requirements: Maintain an active presence on the sales floor, with energy and focus while standing, walking, using ladders, and lifting up to 30 pounds to meet business demands and deliver an elevated customer experience.
