Job summary

The Town of Barnstable seeks an instructor to lead the HYCC Learn to Skate program within the Hyannis Youth and Community Center Division. The role focuses on safety, supervision, and delivering quality skating instruction in line with Learn to Skate USA, USFS and PSA standards and HYCC guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold CPR/First Aid, Learn to Skate USA instructor status, USFS/PSA memberships, liability insurance, CER certificates, and experience supervising activities with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

CPR and First Aid certification required.
Membership to Learn to Skate USA as an instructor.
Membership to USFS.
Membership to PSA.
Liability Insurance Certificate.
CER Current Certificates.
Experience supervising activities.
Good positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Instruct HYCC skating school Learn to Skate program in accordance with LEARN TO SKATE USA, USFS, PSA and HYCC standards, with the philosophies set forth by the Town of Barnstable.
Ensure safety and well‑being of participants at all times.

Instruct HYCC skating school Learn to Skate program in accordance with LEARN TO SKATE USA, USFS, PSA and HYCC standards, with the philosophies set forth by the Town of Barnstable.
