Job summary

Town of Barnstable's Hyannis Youth and Community Center is seeking a qualified skating instructor to lead Learn to Skate programs and ensure participant safety in accordance with HYCC standards. Responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons, supervising participants, and promoting a positive environment.

Applicants must hold CPR/First Aid, Learn to Skate USA and USFS/PSA memberships, liability insurance, and current certificates.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: CPR / First Aid certified
• Membership to Learn to Skate USA as an instructor
• Membership to USFS
• Membership to PSA
• Liability Insurance Certificate
• CER Current Certificates
• Experience supervising activities
• Good positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Instruct HYCC skating school Learn to Skate program in accordance with LEARN TO SKATE USA, USFS, PSA and HYCC standards, with the philosophies set forth by the Town of Barnstable.
