Job summary

Transcendental is seeking an experienced SEM/SEO Manager to lead cross-brand initiatives, driving on-site and off-site optimization, keyword research, and strategic SEO planning. You will advise on technical SEO, manage backlink programs, and develop SEM strategies that improve local and organic rankings for dental clients.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years managing SEM/SEO programs, strong analytical and business skills, and proficiency with GA4, Search Console, GTM and SEMRush.

Responsibilities

• Daily use of analytics reporting to measure tactic effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date on SEO and AI industry trends and algorithm changes.
• Lead blog, content and technical components of SEO programs.

Job description

This is a critical, cross-brand role that will create, develop and implement best-in‑class SEM/SEO/LLM initiatives designed to drive prospect acquisitions for clients. TheSEO Managerwill be responsible for on‑site and off‑site optimization including keyword research, advising on technical SEO applications, off‑site SEO setup and backlink building for our clients. We are seeking someone with a strong grasp of search engine management, AI overviews, LLM and is able to develop comprehensive SEO strategies that dominate in local and organic rankings.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate with internal team members to formulate comprehensive, evidence‑based search strategies
• Keyword, online market, user traffic and online competitor research to ensure our clients index for key search phrases and identify online opportunities
• Manage on and off‑site SEO tactics including technical, back linking profile and other strategies
• Develop SEM strategies across multiple brands/engines and devices to increase client web visibility and market share
• Daily use of reporting, analytics tools to understand effectiveness of tactics as they relate to goals
• Effectively manages efforts to focus on delivering on top priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Remain on top of search and AI industry trends and algorithm changes
• Manage SEMRush and other platforms
• Lead blog, content and technical components of SEO programs through expertise

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands on experience managing SEM/SEO programs
• Analytical thinking with strong business acumen
• Working knowledge of analytics tools like GA4, Search Console, GTM and SEMRush
• Individual must be self‑motivated, highly organized and able to multitask while meeting deadlines
