Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Control Process Operator for our 1st shift to set up and operate machines, read blueprints, and move materials.

You will use break presses, plasma table, and drill press, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure parts meet specifications while maintaining safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a 20' or larger break press, Plasma Table, or Drill Press, preferably breaking/cutting steel up to 2" thick.
• Ability to proficiently read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements.
• The ability to maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
• The ability to stand, climb on/off equipment, and lift materials over 50 pounds regularly.
• A high level of dependability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate 20' Break Press and 60' Break Press.
• Operate Plasma Table and Kinetic (Drill Press).
• Form and/or cut materials into predesignated shapes and sizes.
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely.
• Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments.
• Ensure parts meet quality tolerances and follow operation sequence.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to hire a Control Process Operator for our plant operation located in Tulsa, OK. (1st Shift) The Control Process Operator sets up and operates machines, and may use blueprints, make adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements, and transfer materials to storage areas.

What you'll do:

• Operate any or all of the following machines:
• 20' Break Press
• 60' Break Press
• Plasma Table
• Kinetic (Drill Press)
• Form and or cut materials into predesignated shapes and sizes
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely
• Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments
• Make general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Other job duties as assigned
