Job summary

ConeCraft LLC seeks a skilled Seam Welder/Roll Operator/Shell-Cylinder Fabricator to join our fabrication team. You will weld, roll, and fabricate shell cylinders for pressurized stainless-steel tanks, following blueprints and ASME standards. This role blends hands-on metalwork with precision measurement and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have experience in stainless steel fabrication, can pass a 3G weld test, and read technical drawings. Safety and quality are paramount in our shop environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in stainless-steel fabrication and welding across FCAW, MIG, TIG, SMAW.
• 3G Weld test required.
• Strong ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Shop math proficiency and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Skilled in using calipers and micrometers for QA.
• Able to work independently or in a team with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities

• Operate a seam welder to join sheet metal and metal materials according to blueprints and specifications.
• Operate roll machines and other fabrication equipment to shape and form stainless-steel sheet metal and components with precision.
• Operate and care for Automatic Welder, Roll, Floor Grinder to create components for manufacture.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts using rulers, calipers, and squares.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, drawings, and ASME codes to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of shell cylinders.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely during fabrication processes.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks to ensure quality and timely completion.

Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality pressurized stainless-steel tanks. Responsibilities

• Operate a seam welder to join sheet metal and metal materials according to blueprints and specifications
• Operate roll machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and form stainless- steel sheet metal and metal components with precision
• Operate and care for Automatic Welder, Roll, Floor Grinder to create components for manufacture.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and ASME codes & standards to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of shell cylinders
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively during fabrication processes
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies throughout all tasks
• Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, ensuring quality control and timely completion of projects

Requirements

• Proven experience in stainless-steel metal fabrication, metal welding (including FCAW, MIG, TIG, SMAW), and shell-cylinder manufacturing within a construction or fabrication shop environment.
• 3G Weld test required
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, shop math, and interpreting technical drawings
• Ability to operate fabrication machinery confidentlySkilled in the use of measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers for quality assurance
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a evolving environment while maintaining high safety standards.
