Job summary

Bonduelle Americas is seeking an operator in the Bistro production area to operate and maintain sealing equipment, driving line efficiency and minimizing downtime.

You will perform inspections, basic preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting while ensuring quality. The role requires teamwork, adaptability to a cold, wet plant environment, and strict adherence to safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English; comprehension of basic math.
• Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.
• Eager to learn, and work as part of the team
• Ability to deliver consistent quality results through a sense of urgency and taking initiative, while also demonstrating flexibility to meet business needs.
• Attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections for quality
• Perform basic preventative maintenance of the equipment when applicable
• Basic troubleshooting
• Observe production and monitors equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Manage and reduce waste (product giveaway) by use of scale system
• Communicate and educate other associates for the purpose of maintaining good product quality as it enters the sealing equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow and enforce the 5S Methodology including maintaining tools and equipment as defined by the 5S marking.
• Perform other duties as assigned
