Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to support the seafood department with counter service, stocking, and sanitation responsibilities. You will help maintain fresh displays, assist customers, and follow safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include keeping cases clean, labeling, stocking, assisting with sampling programs, and upholding health regulations while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced seafood department.
• Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh display by stocking, cleaning, rotating products.
• Maintains signage and pricing.
• Cleans cases, glass, and shelves.
• Skins, bones, and prepares fish as needed.
• Assists with inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and assists customers.
• Maximizes sales through proper stocking and merchandising.
• Adheres to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties.
• Reports safety hazards promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
