Job Summary

Our Seafood Team Leader manages the entire Seafood team, ensuring smooth operations. You will guide Team Members and assist guests with the freshest catch and preparation tips. Leaders are responsible for the department's performance, representing the organization professionally. Promote respect, inclusion, diversity, and dignity while coaching Team Members regularly, providing timely feedback, and identifying development opportunities.

Job Description

• Experience Required: Retail work experience or Store Leader recommendation
• Experience Desired: Retail leadership or supervisory experience; success as a Peer Trainer, in-store champion, or similar role; relevant product knowledge; good performance and discipline record
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or Licensing Required: Food Safety
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Interview, select, and train Team Members
• Direct and evaluate the work of Team Members
• Appraise productivity and recommend promotions or changes
• Handle issues and complaints from Team Members
• Discipline Team Members as needed
• Plan and assign work tasks
• Ensure safety and security of the team and store
• Manage departmental budget and inventory
• Monitor compliance measures
• Oversee training to reduce turnover and control labor costs
• Provide motivational leadership, fostering respect and exemplary behavior
• Identify team strengths and opportunities, think strategically in scheduling
