Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. seeks a seafood team leader to oversee daily operations, profitability, and compliance, ensuring exceptional service and guidance to Team Members.

You will drive hiring, training, and performance while maintaining strong vendor relationships and food safety standards. The role requires leadership experience in retail, deep product knowledge, and a proactive approach to achieving sales and labor targets.

Qualifications

• Food safety certification; willing to complete within 6 months.
• Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
• Advanced knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Holds ATLs, supervisors and Team Members accountable for outstanding customer service.
• Makes hiring and separation decisions in partnership with Store Leadership.
• Accountable for monitoring and achieving sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Projects annual sales and expenses and prepares operating budget.
• Manages ordering and inventory to achieve targeted contribution to profit margin.
• Establishes and maintains collaborative and productive working relationships with leadership and vendors.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
