Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Seafood Associate at our Sandy Springs, GA location to prepare, display and rotate seafood items, ensuring high quality, safe handling and appealing presentation. You will assist customers, follow food-safety policies and maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment throughout daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and provide high-quality foods in a cheerful manner.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous and professional in interactions.

• Unload and store merchandise; prepare and display foods per standards and recipes; comply with Food Safety Policies.
• Perform required temperature monitoring.
• Monitor product quality to ensure freshness and safety.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms and coolers clean and organized.
• Keep carts, tools, equipment and supplies in designated areas.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils per policies.
• Maintain proper signage, rotation, freshness and space allocation.
• Maintain equipment and facilities safely per company policies.
• Adhere to company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Operate cash register per procedures where applicable.
