Job summary

ShopRite Mt Laurel is seeking a Seafood Department Associate to deliver excellent customer service while preparing and packing fresh and frozen seafood to company standards.

You will greet customers, handle inventory, ensure proper labeling, maintain cleanliness, follow safety rules, and assist in achieving department goals. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work extended shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze and understand English.
• Ability to handle fresh, frozen, and processed seafood products safely.
• Ability to perform basic math and follow procedures accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Receive, code-date, store, price-mark, scale and restock products.
• Differentiate seafood varieties and advise on preparation and usage.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas and equipment.
• Lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs as needed and work extended shifts.
