Job summary

Hy-Vee seeks a Seafood Service Clerk in Minnesota to provide prompt, friendly customer service within the Seafood Department. You will wrap, weigh, and label seafood, stock cases, and ensure freshness while adhering to sanitation standards.

You will greet customers, assist with orders, work cooperatively with teammates, and support department goals in a fast-paced store setting. Prior food-handling experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Safety training completed is preferred.
• Six months related work experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, friendly customer service in the Seafood Department.
• Smiles, greets customers, and assists with questions and orders.
• Wraps, weighs, and labels seafood products for display.
• Stocks cases, rotates products, and prepares items for display.
• Maintains sanitation and clean work areas in accordance with guidelines.
• Reports out-of-stock items to management and assists in other areas as needed.
• Adheres to store policies and shows up on time for scheduled shifts.
