Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in food industry or seafood sector.
• Strong knowledge of seafood products (fish, shellfish, crustaceans).
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Provide expert advice on seafood selection, preparation, and sustainability.
• Respond to inquiries with product recommendations and close sales.
• Maintain knowledge of seafood products, sourcing, seasonal availability, quality standards and culinary applications.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, pricing, and competitor offerings.
• Demonstrate sustainability, freshness, and quality points to customers.
• Track sales activities and report performance and feedback to management.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts and product trend reports.
