Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC in Clemmons, NC, is seeking a meat and seafood department team member to provide courteous guest service and merchandise products effectively. You will engage guests with selling skills, prepare knife-ready meat and seafood items, and maintain quality, safety, and sanitation in the prep areas and sales floor.

You will assist with receiving, inventory, stocking, pricing, and rotating products while coordinating with management on guest requests and promotions.

Qualifications

• Should possess good interpersonal skills and effective selling skills.
• Outgoing personality for guest interaction.
• Ability to work well with others and sell to guests.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create a selling environment in the department.
• Prepare knife-ready meat and seafood products to Lowes Foods standards.
• Assist with product receiving, inventory and storage.
• Price, stock and rotate meat/seafood items in sales areas.
• Maintain safety and sanitation in prep areas, coolers and on the sales floor.
• Ensure products are fresh and within date; communicate issues to management.
• Address guest requests/concerns to management.
• Make PA announcements for meat/seafood items of sale and promotions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
