Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse in the United States seeks an Inventory/Production associate to ensure seafood stock is rotated, contribute to production flow, and pull orders for packing. You will read schedules, move items using an electric pallet jack, and help stage customer orders in a chilled environment.

You will lift up to 100 lb with assistance, operate a scale, and maintain accurate distribution records while keeping a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all incoming seafood is properly rotated into stock.
• Maintain steady production flow to meet requirements.
• Read production schedules and process items accordingly.
• Distribute items from stock to production areas or shipping.
• Operate electric pallet jack and scale fish as needed.
• Lift 15–20 lbs consistently; up to 50 lbs frequently; up to 100 lbs occasionally with assistance.
• Work in refrigerated rooms at 30-36 degrees.
• Label items and record distributed amounts.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
