Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Seafood Processor in Redmond, WA. The role involves processing seafood products, cutting and preparing fish, weighing and packaging for shipment, and maintaining quality standards in a cold, wet environment.

Responsibilities include following food safety procedures and performing basic math to verify weights, with opportunities to assist in other production duties as needed. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
• Able to work in a cold and wet environment.
• Prior production, warehouse or food processing experience preferred.
• Knife skills and fish processing experience are a plus.

Location: Redmond, WA
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $22.55/hour

Responsibilities

• Process seafood products including fish, fish eggs, and crab
• Cut, fillet, skin, stack, and prepare fish products
• Weigh and package products for shipment
• Load and unload products into water bins for thawing and processing
• Maintain quality and production standards
• Perform basic math calculations to combine and verify product weights
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with general production duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
• Comfortable working in a cold and wet environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Basic math skills required
• Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse, or food processing experience preferred
• Knife skills and fish processing experience are a plus
• Experience operating a band saw is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
