Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation is seeking an entry level Seafood Processor to work with our processing team in Washington. You will clean, trim, and pack seafood, open materials, and move products along conveyors while maintaining safety standards.

Preferred candidates have 1 year of food manufacturing experience and a HS Diploma or equivalent. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a focus on safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, scraps, and trims product.

• Packs product in boxes, barrels, baskets, or crates for storage or shipment.
• Operates machines to move seafood from place to place.
• Maintains workspace cleanliness and safety.
• Adheres to environmental and safety policies and trainings.
• Notifies personnel of environmental or safety incidents as needed.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Seafood Processor 1role processes seafood products by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:

• Cleans, scraps,andtrimsproduct.
• Opens and removes raw materials and places on belts.
• Segregates product on conveyor belt or table according to grade, color, and size, and places product in containers or on designated conveyors.
• Discards cull (inferior or defective) items and foreign matter.
• Packs product in boxes, barrels, baskets, or crates for storage or shipment.
• Operates machine(s) to move live orpackedseafood from place to place.
• Reviews workspace for cleanliness and safety.
• Acquiresknowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activitiesin accordance withtraining and procedures/work instructions.
• Notifiesdesignated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented,in accordance withEnvironmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.
• Follows plant food safety policies and industry best practices.
• Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
