Job summary

Red Lobster Hospitality, LLC is seeking a cook to join our kitchen team in North Las Vegas. The role involves setting up and stocking prep and line stations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, and preparing menu items to specification while maintaining portion control.

You will inspect work areas and assist other cooks during peak times. Qualified candidates have culinary experience, can stand for long shifts, and lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for an 8–12 hour shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 60 pounds safely.
• Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country you are applying.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and stocking prep and line stations
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
• Checking the quality and freshness of ingredients
• Prepping, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes, quantity calls, and specification while maintaining portion control systems
• Inspecting food preparation and serving areas, tools, and equipment to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
• Substituting for or assisting other cooks and kitchen positions during peak business periods
