Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. seeks an energetic supervisor to assist the Team Leader in driving profitability, controlling expenses, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.

The role leads and develops Team Members while ensuring a courteous and safe shopping experience for customers and staff. Responsibilities include merchandising, achieving sales and labor targets, budgeting support, inventory management, and staff development.

Qualifications

• 18+ months retail Team Member experience
• 6+ months of supervisory experience
• Proficient at analyzing sales, reports, and labor data
• Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications
• Ability to teach and mentor others and develop a high-performance team
• Strong communication and customer relations skills

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports, and labor.
• Assists team leader in annual sales and expense projections and budget preparation.
• Assists team leader with ordering and inventory management.
• Works with Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Functions as point person and departmental lead in Team Leader's absence.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters teamwork and positive morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and directs Team Members accordingly.
• Trains and mentors Team Members to sustain a high-performance team.
