Job summary

Cosentino's Food Stores in Belton, MO is seeking a part-time seafood associate to assist customers by receiving, cutting and serving seafood products in a friendly, efficient manner.

You will report to the Seafood Manager and work in a non-exempt role, performing essential tasks including maintaining product freshness, accurate pricing, weighing and packaging, and upholding safety and sanitation standards to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• A food handling permit must be obtained within the first 14 days of employment.
• Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino Learning Plan.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Customer Service Skills are required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Follow guidelines for cutting and preparing items for display.
• Monitor expiration dates and rotate products accordingly.
• Accurately count and record merchandise as part of inventory.
• Assist customers at the counter by weighing, wrapping and pricing items.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to health regulations.
