Job summary

Cosentino's Price Chopper, Raymore, MO, is seeking a Seafood Manager to lead the Seafood team and drive exceptional product quality and customer service. The role reports to the Meat Manager and requires implementing department goals, coaching staff, and ensuring compliance with health standards.

The position includes full-time hours with benefits; prior seafood retail experience and a valid driver’s license are essential. Training will be provided under the Cosentino Learning Plan.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required for deliveries.
• A food handling permit is required within the first 14 days of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year previous experience working in a retail seafood setting is required.
• Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino Learning Plan.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set and implement strategy for departmental operational excellence, labor management and cost controls.
• Communicate goals clearly to the team and implement plans to reach them.
• Supervise deli team activities in a motivating, respectful way.
• Provide coaching and performance evaluations to improve results.
• Manage customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Maintain health, safety and sanitation standards for the department.
