Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Seafood Clerk in Anna, TX to prepare and display seafood items, perform customer service duties, and follow safety and policies. You will ensure quality, freshness, and safety of products while maintaining clean display areas and working with teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling merchandise, temperature monitoring, and operating the cash register.

Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communication skills that engage our customers and associates
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, present information in a professional manner and work with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and provide them with good quality foods
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions
• Communicate with customers and associates
• Unload and store merchandise and display foods per standards and policies
• Perform temperature monitoring and ensure product freshness and safety
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized
• Operate cash register following company procedures
