Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Seafood Clerk to prepare and display seafood items, assist customers, and uphold company standards for quality, safety and cleanliness. The role requires attention to health and safety policies and the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers promptly and cheerfully and provide good quality foods.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Communicate with customers and associates.
• Unload and store merchandise and display foods per standards and policies.
• Perform required temperature monitoring and ensure product freshness and safety.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms and coolers clean and organized.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils as required.
• Maintain signage, rotation, quality and space allocation for merchandise.
• Operate cash register in accordance with procedures.
