Job summary

Fiesta Mart is hiring a Seafood Clerk at Store 079 Houston-Westheimer. The role involves friendly customer service, assisting customers, and maintaining the seafood displays in a fast-paced grocery environment.

You should be able to read and write in Spanish and English, interact with the public and co-workers, and lift up to 50–60 pounds. Prior PC/Outlook skills and a retail mindset are a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and colleagues.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous customer service in the seafood department.
• Set up, maintain, and clean the seafood display cases; rotate stock.
• Assist customers and answer questions about products.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work with standing, bending and stooping for extended periods.
