Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist customers and staff with the seafood display cases.
• Set up, maintain, clean, fill, and rotate seafood displays.
• Meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 60 lbs, bending, standing, stooping, walking, and kneeling for prolonged periods.
• Work in a fast‑paced grocery store environment.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish and English.
• Interpret simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs, frequently lift up to 45 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs.
• Hold a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred).
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
