Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers per company standards.
• Unload seafood deliveries; verify invoices and weights.
• Clean, cut, and filet fish.
• Weigh, wrap, code, and price fish and shrimp.
• Display products to high presentation standards to boost the brand.
• Maintain knowledge of all department products.
• Set up and rotate seafood cases; stock freezer; remove out-of-date items.
• Report temperature issues of cases to the manager.
• Keep work, display, and storage areas tidy.
• Follow state health regulations and safe food handling.
• Refer difficult customer problems to a manager.
• Perform other duties as directed.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Seafood Associate - Part Time

Seafood Part Time - 13-29 hours BLUE BELL, Blue Bell, PA, US

Salary Range: $13.00 To $16.00 Hourly

Seafood Associate:

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide prompt and courteous service to customers according to company standards.
• Unload deliveries of seafood. Verify invoices and weights.
• Clean, cut and filet fish.
• Weigh, wrap, code and price fish, shrimp, etc.
• Display product as directed in the highest standards of presentation to increase the McCaffrey's \"brand\"
• Maintain knowledge of all products sold in the department.
• Set up and breakdown seafood cases, stock freezer, check and remove out of date items, and rotate. products according to company standards.
• Communicate temperature failure of cases to manager.
• Maintain good housekeeping of work, display and storage areas.
• Observe all state health regulations and all safe food handling procedures
• Refer unusual or difficult customer problems to a manager for prompt attention
• Perform other duties as directed
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Demands:

• Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty
• Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time
• Lift, push, &/or pull cases/containers of product up to 50 pounds
