Job summary

Heinen’s, Inc. in Illinois is seeking a Seafood Associate to prioritize daily work, acquire and share Seafood Department knowledge, and write orders using effective pars and planning.

You will work as part of a team to ensure accurate stocking, merchandising and compliance with food handling standards. Responsibilities

  • Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
  • Acquire and share knowledge of Seafood Department.
  • Responsible for writing orders using effective pars and planning.
  • Responsible for working as a team in order to complete daily tasks as needed, including scanning and recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating and merchandising.
  • Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards.
  • Attend required corporate meetings, vendor calls, and training classes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
