Job summary

Heinen’s, Inc. in Bannockburn, IL is seeking a Retail Professional to uphold the Heinen’s Diamond Difference Standards in our seafood department and store operations. You will engage customers, ensure product quality, and support daily tasks to maintain an inviting, well-stocked store environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to food safety standards, eager participation in meetings and training, and contributions to a high-performing store team with strong growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Acquire and share knowledge of Seafood Department.
• Responsible for writing orders using effective pars and planning.
• Responsible for working as a team in order to complete daily tasks as needed, including scanning and recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating and merchandising.
• Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards.
• Attend required corporate meetings, vendor calls, and training classes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
