Sea Ray/BIMC - Assembler/Fitter/Installer/Electrical

Position Overview

As part of the talented AFI team, you will perform a variety of tasks in a large boat manufacturing facility, including gunking, glassing, assembling, fitting, and installing.

Essential Functions
  • Install cabinets, floors, cockpits, benches, and other components as assigned.
  • Complete the front line interior work, focusing on final finishes and cosmetic aspects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of boat building experience preferred
  • Fitting and installing experience
  • Knowledge of hand tools
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work with suspended loads
  • Ability to read prints and production schedules
Preferred Skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Adaptability to changing requirements
  • Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling
  • Flexibility to work extended hours
Working Conditions
  • Work in dusty and hot environments
  • Use of personal protective equipment
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, climb stairs, and stand for long periods
Location and Compensation

Location: Merritt Island, FL

Pay Range: $20.60 to $25.05 per hour, plus potential bonus and benefits.
