Scoot Education is hiring dedicated consultants to match you with school assignments and support you in classrooms, ensuring students receive consistent instruction and feedback. You’ll engage in 1:1 check-ins on feedback, training opportunities, and career planning with your Scoot Education Consultant.

Responsibilities include supervising students, fostering a safe learning environment, handling routines, and communicating with staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree or college credits
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
• State & federal background checks

Many of our consultants have previous teaching experience and will share best practices and offer practical advice. They are just a phone call away for any questions or concerns.

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree or college credits

• Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit


• Have previous experience in special education settings


• Are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria

• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher

• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher
