Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Colorado is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineering Associate Manager for the FBM program to lead requirements development, verification, and test of avionics subsystems. You will guide a team of systems engineers, coordinate with design, test, and program management, and ensure compliance with DoD standards while delivering critical, high-assurance solutions.

This role requires strong SE fundamentals, leadership experience, and an active DoD clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong SE principles, including functional analysis and system design.
• Experience leading multi-disciplined technical teams.
• Active or current DoD Secret Clearance required prior to start; U.S. Citizenship required for Top Secret eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and verification of subsystems level requirements and integration and test activities.
• Develop and maintain requirements docs, interface control documents, and test plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—systems, design, and test engineering—to ensure proper integration and testing.
• Plan and execute integration and test activities with test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks related to requirements, integration, and test.
• Collaborate with program management to develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to a team of systems engineers.
