Yavapai College is seeking a student dishwasher to support our Food Service operation. The role involves cleaning dishes, loading machines, and maintaining a steady supply of clean wares across multiple campus locations in Prescott and surrounding centers.
The position offers part-time hours and a starting wage of $16.00 per hour. Responsibilities include prioritizing loads, hand-washing as needed, and working as part of a team to ensure timely service while maintaining cleanliness and safety

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour, 0-20 hours per week depending on department need, availability of funds and student eligibility. This position will gain marketable work experience by working with Yavapai College staff, Faculty and affiliates in a group effort to support the mission, goals and values of Yavapai College.
The dishwasher will be responsible for cleaning dishes for our college food service operation to ensure the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, and glasses. Their duties include prioritizing loads of different types of kitchenware, hand-washing dishes, loading the dishwasher, and placing dishes to dry. Hard work and dedication will play a vital role in the overall success of the culinary team.

The start date, to occur no sooner than July 1st of the current aid year, of this position will be determined by the hiring supervisor after an applicant is hired. This position has a standard end of assignment date of June 30th of the current aid year. Assignment may end sooner or be extended depending FWS eligibility, availability and/or department need.
