Job summary

Community Horizons in Wisconsin is seeking a dependable, caring caregiver to provide one-on-one support in a member's home and community in New Richmond. The ideal candidate is reliable, patient, respectful and comfortable delivering hands-on assistance.

Pay is $16.32–$18.24 per hour for about 4.75 hours weekly, with flexible daytime shifts; this Self-Directed Supports position lets the member hire and direct her caregiver.

Qualifications

• Experience in in-home care preferred.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping and basic personal care tasks.
• Flexible, compassionate approach to supporting independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in the member's home and community.
• Light housekeeping and errands.
• Bathing and dressing assistance.
• Laundry and laundry help.
• Assist with shower transfers or getting in/out of the shower.
• Offer companionship and friendly conversation.

A member in New Richmond is looking for a dependable, caring, and compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one support in her home and community.

Pay: $16.32–$18.24/hour

Must start at or after 11:00 AM

Duties may include:

• Light housekeeping
• Shopping and errands
• Bathing and dressing assistance
• Laundry
• Assistance getting in and out of the shower
• Help with tasks that are difficult to reach or complete independently
• Support in the home and community
• Friendly conversation and companionship

The ideal caregiver is reliable, patient, respectful, caring, and comfortable providing hands-on support when needed while respecting the member’s choices, preferences, and independence.

This is an SDS (Self-Directed Supports) position, meaning the member is the employer and is involved in choosing and directing her caregiver.
