Job summary

Community Horizons in New Richmond WI is seeking a compassionate Companion Caregiver to provide one-on-one support for an adult in New Richmond. This role emphasizes friendly interaction, daily check-ins, and helping maintain independence in the community.

Pay: $16.32-$19.08/hours

As a self‑direct support worker, you will be hired directly by the individual receiving the services to provide approved support and companionship to them.

What you will be doing:

• Provide companionship and engage in conversations.
• Accompany the individual on errands and shopping trips!
• Aid with light housekeeping and keeping living areas tidy.
• Enjoy outings in town (approximately 3 hours)
• Occasionally travel to nearby towns for appointments or activities (approximately 4 hours)
• Offer encouragement, support and gentle redirection when needed.
