Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a mid‑level Project Management Associate to support project lifecycles, SDLC activities, stakeholder engagement, and asset/configuration management across defense, national security, and civilian programs. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, document requirements, and assist with risk and change management in an Agile/DevSecOps context.

Qualifications

SDLC: Demonstrated experience with software development lifecycle phases (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment)
Stakeholder engagement: Proven experience engaging with diverse stakeholders including technical teams, business users, and leadership
Product owner facilitation: Facilitate product owner requirements gathering, user story development, and backlog management
Project coordination: Experience supporting planning, tracking, reporting, and coordination of projects
Configuration/asset management: Experience with configuration management, asset tracking, or inventory processes
Documentation: Strong documentation skills with project plans, status reports, or technical docs

Responsibilities

Project Lifecycle Support: assist with schedule development, milestone tracking, and deliverable coordination; charter development and requirements gathering; track KPIs and status across multiple projects; coordinate cross‑functional teams; lead meetings and capture decisions; prepare status reports and dashboards; support lessons learned.
SDLC Support: engage with stakeholders throughout the software lifecycle; run product owner workshops and requirements elicitation; document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; coordinate sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning; assist with testing, UAT, and deployment schedules; track defects and changes; maintain release notes.
Stakeholder Engagement: act as liaison between technical teams, product owners, and business stakeholders; communicate across development, operations, and end users; conduct stakeholder interviews and translate technical info for non‑technical audiences; support change management and gather feedback.
Configuration Management: maintain CMDB with asset information; track hardware, software, licenses, and equipment; process change requests; document baselines and version control; support audits and reconciliation; coordinate tagging and lifecycle records.
Asset Tracking and Inventory Management: conduct regular audits; track locations, assignments, and transfers; coordinate asset procurement and disposal; monitor lifecycle stages; support planning for new projects; maintain audit trails.
Logistics Coordination: support facility requirements, procure and deploy equipment/materials; manage shipping/receiving; coordinate vendor and third‑party logistics; maintain logistics calendars.
Change Management Support: process change requests through approvals; assess impact on scope, schedule, budget; document decisions; update docs; communicate changes; support Change Control Board meetings.
Monitoring and Reporting: track milestones, budget, resources; produce status reports and dashboards; identify risks and blockers; maintain risk/issue logs; support data collection for metrics.
Team Coordination: coordinate across teams; schedule meetings and stand‑ups; maintain repositories and collaboration platforms; assist onboarding and capacity planning.
