Job summary

Point72 is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE with deep AWS cloud experience to support and optimize our enterprise SDLC platforms, including Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory. You will implement security controls, automate pipelines, and troubleshoot complex deployments to improve developer productivity.

You will collaborate with business teams and developers, maintain runbooks, and help shape a scalable, secure CI/CD environment across ECS/EKS and AWS services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps or SRE roles.
• AWS services and cloud-native architectures are required.
• Container technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS) and container orchestration experience.
• Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control best practices.
• Hands-on programming/scripting (Python, Go) for CI/CD automation.
• Infrastructure as code via Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub or GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of secure SDLC practices and security automation.
• Experience supporting large-scale development environments with complex CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation to reduce toil and boost developer productivity.
• Troubleshoot complex build, deployment, and integration issues across development environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of AWS-based development infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base for supported platforms and tools.

What You’ll Do

What’s Required

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles
• Strong technical expertise in AWS services and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS) and container orchestration
• Deep understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control best practices
• Strong hands‑on programming/scripting skills (Python, Go, or similar), with ability to debug and build automation for CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) in AWS environments
• Hands‑on experience with CICD solutions like Jenkins, GitHub or GitLab
• Strong knowledge of secure SDLC practices and security automation
• Experience supporting large‑scale development environments with complex CI/CD requirements
