Job description

As Point72 reimagines the future of investing, our Technology team is constantly evolving our firm’s IT infrastructure and engineering capabilities, positioning us at the forefront of a rapidly evolving technology landscape. We’re a team of experts who experiment and work to discover new ways to harness open-source solutions, modern cloud architectures, and sophisticated Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, while embracing enterprise agile methodologies. Our commitment to building and innovating in the AI space provides the framework intended to drive smarter decision making and enhance how we build and operate our platforms and applications.

As a member of Point72’s Technology team, we encourage and support your professional development from day one—helping you advance your technical skills, contribute innovative ideas, and satisfy your own intellectual curiosity—all while delivering real business impact for our multi-billion-dollar global business.

What you’ll do
  • Build and own integrations between enterprise systems and third-party SaaS platforms, delivering production-grade connectors that move critical HR, finance and corporate data
  • Lead end-to-end technical delivery of integration projects — from requirements and design through testing, deployment and ongoing operation — with clear ownership and measurable impact
  • Design and implement robust RESTful APIs and web service adapters that handle both modern REST and legacy SOAP interfaces to enable reliable cross-system workflows
  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance and other corporate teams to map business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable technical solutions — act as the engineer and business analyst in one
  • Act as the primary integrator with security and compliance teams to embed authentication, authorization, encryption and auditability into integrations for production readiness
  • Own cloud-native integration services using infrastructure-as-code, including network and security configuration, scaling and cost-effective operation on a major cloud platform
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, monitoring and observability to ensure high availability, fast recovery and clear operational runbooks
  • Operate and troubleshoot production integrations — perform log analysis, incident response, root cause identification and continuous reliability improvements
  • Mentor peers, document integration patterns and reusable components, and drive tooling and standards so the team can build faster and with higher quality
What’s required
  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional software engineering experience, with a clear track record of building and owning integrations between enterprise systems and third-party SaaS platforms in production
  • Strong backend engineering skills in one or more modern languages such as Java, C#/.NET, Python, Node.js or Go, demonstrating depth and engineering judgment
  • Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party web services, with familiarity using both REST and SOAP protocols
  • Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization standards including OAuth2, OIDC, SAML and single sign-on, and directory-based authorization using Active Directory or LDAP
  • Experience building and operating services on a major cloud platform (for example AWS) using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, with demonstrated networking and security practices
  • Strong experience with Git, continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, and supporting production systems through debugging, log analysis, observability and incident response
  • Strong SQL skills and experience designing and querying relational databases
  • Hands-on experience integrating enterprise SaaS vendors
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with senior and business stakeholders; ability to independently gather requirements, map business processes, present trade-offs, drive alignment, and partner with security and compliance functions; excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; legal authorization to work in Poland and ability to be based in Warsaw
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards
