Job summary

Cerebras Systems in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a hands-on SDET Technical Lead to establish and lead Release Integration Testing within Release & Feature Qualification for AI Inference Core. You will design test architecture, mentor engineers, and drive evidence-based release decisions across runtime, host, device programming, memory, scheduling, and model execution.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with Python or Go.
• Track record in software quality, test infrastructure, or release engineering.
• Experience designing automation and test architectures for distributed systems.
• Ability to diagnose cross-stack failures, form hypotheses, and drive resolution.
• Understanding risk-based testing, release readiness, and quality metrics.
• Ability to influence multiple teams without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Define the Release Integration Testing strategy and criteria for AI Inference Core.
• Lead cross-stack validation and first-pass rollout triage.
• Mentor SDETs and engineers; improve automation and tooling.
• Collaborate with runtime, hardware, and deployment teams to reduce release risk.
